i thought the same thing when my daughters cat was pregnant, she was MASSIVE because she was only a small cat and she was out in the back paddock hunting down mice the day before having her kittens..
She hadn't found a spot either, but because they are in the homw ground all the time they know the safe places so they dont have to go and look for them.
Good Luck With the kittens my friend.
nobody can be totally sure if you dont know the time of conception but if you can feel them moving its less than two weeks away.
an cats pregnancy is usually only about two months long... if you can feel them moving and she isn't walking around very much... I'd say you're looking at any time now. Most cats will either follow you around the day of ((for some reason they don't like being alone)) or they'll do the complete opposite and hide from you, and hide the spot where the babies will be born. Chances are, she already has an idea of where she wants her babies to be born. Keep an eye on your closets, dresser drawers -if you ever happen to leave a drawer open, under the beds and dressers... pretty much anywhere she can get too easily enough but hidden away so she doesn't feel her babies are threatened.
and its normal for mama to eat the placenta after each baby comes out. its gross, but normal.
