How long do cats live for?

I have 4 cats aged 10 and 11, and i was wondering how long a cat will live for?
Answers:
My beloved Burmese died about two years ago, aged 20, and he had caught an infection from some ferals. Asian cats live longer than others.
I'd say 16 is minimum, 18 to 20 likely, up to 25 possible.
There have been Siamese cats aged 34 and older.

A lot of it depends on the food you give them, the lifestyle they live, how much love you give them daily, and how well you've protected them from illness. My cats are spending a lot of time inside the house because they prefer to, where they get cuddled nonstop and fed expensive foods. They sleep in my bed, some of them in my arms, every night.
I just know that prolongs their lives.
Cats can live 20 years and more, with good care and genetics. Your cats are still fairly young by many vet's terms, I have an 11 year old also. I also just lost a 12 year old to kidney disease, so be prepared just in case, and get six month or at least annual checkups so you can treat anything early.
Most cats live to be anywhere from 12 to 15 years old. The oldest I've known were 18.
Your cats are definitely entering their senior years.

Right now, your cats are like humans in their fifties: still in great shape, but they could be more susceptible to serious illnesses.

By age 12-13, they're in their sixties: some are still in great shape, some are really starting to show their age. All are increasingly likely to develop serious health problems.

Around 14 or 15, think seventies: even the best ones are starting to look and feel old. For many, the end of life is near.

Many cats live well beyond age 15 but you should count every year after that as a special gift. Don't count on it.

Cats 17-18 years of age are invariably very old, frail, and cranky. If they still have teeth they are most likely rotting. They are skin and bones and sleep alot.

Some cats do live beyond age 20 but that is quite rare. In general, mongrel cats live a little bit longer than purebreds, but that's an average and not indicative of what you can expect of your own cat.
Depending on the breed and whether they are indoor/outdoor cats it varies between 12 to 20 years. I had one that lived 22 years and another that only lived to 13 years.
Boncarle is correct, cats can live to age 20, indoor cats have a longer life span for many reasons, they are safer from all types of harm. Male cats are more prone to kidney problems, I also lost one after a two year battle, but he had a great life and lived to at least 18 years old with good vet care.
The average accross the board is 15 years , but for a well looked for cat it can be much longer.
Well-cared also implies ensuring outdoor safety. Feral cats don't have that and don't live long.
It all depends on how well you take care of your cats and whether they have any health issues. I know of people who's cats live to be at least 16.

Since your cats are at least 10 yrs of age, you really should take better care of them, bring them to see the vet yearly for their check ups and put them on senior diets if they are not already on it.
