Answers:
Cats usually live quite a while. I had a cat that had been ill on and off his entire life and he lived to be 15yrs old. My sister has a cat who has been ill for the past 8-9 years and he is really overweight. But he will be 13 years old pretty soon.
they could live up 2 a little morethan 10 years, depending how well they're kept
Cats live to around 14..some to 17!
Cats and dogs both usually live to about 14. Just find a place where she can run around like a fenced backyard but wath%26#92;ch her while she runs around
u probably should take your cat to the vet! but i don't know how long they usually live!!!!
Indoor cats have a 15-20 yr life range.
Outdoor cats have a 7-14 yr life range.
Keep your cat healthy and vaccinated. Let her eat name brand although it is expensive to live a longer life. But it is all upto Almighty God to decide how long your cat to live!
i had a cat when i was in elementary school, i think i was about 7 or 8 when we got her as a kitten. she's always been an indoor out door cat, so she was never overweight except when she had kittens ( two litters before we got her fixed) anyway a couple of years later we had to move to a place wehre they didn't allow pets, so we ended up giving her to my aunt. she still lives with her today, and still heathy as ever.

oh by the way i'm 22. :)

oh yeah!!! i forgot, if you only have one indoor cat and it's overweight. give it a play mate. it'll give em' execise. at least it worked with our cats. :)
A cats average age to live is around 14-15 years but cats can live past 20. It sounds to me like you are feeding dry foods. Canned foods w/o gravy is best for your cats. Dry food can lead to many problems down the road. Please read

Indoor cats live longer than outdoor cats, and their lifespan can depend on genetics and general care. If you're worried about your cat, please take her to the vet to find out if she is okay and also to find out what she should weigh and what you can do about it. I was told that the average age for cats is 14 years, with indoor cats usually more.
Cats can live sooo long! my Moms cat lived to be 21... and he was fat! my cat is currantly 17. the average lifespan of a cat is around 14 to 18. It really depends on how healthy your cat is. My cat has a bladder disese, and shes still going.
Cats can live over 20 years--I know of several in their early 20s. The key is preventive medical care, such as blood tests, urinalyses, dental cleanings, and annual check-ups (switching to twice per year in cats over 10 or those with medical issues). That way, if there is a problem or disease, it can be caught early and treated. Any time there is a change in your cat's behavior, it would be a good idea to have a vet visit to check for abnormalities.

Since your cat is overweight, I would suggest talking with a vet about how to get her to lose some weight slowly. You don't want her to lose weight quickly as it can cause her to become very ill. Overweight cats are more at risk for other conditions, like diabetes, so it is important to get her on a controlled diet. Many people have found that their cats lost weight when they switched them to canned food rather than dry. The most important thing, however, is to control the amount of food your cat eats rather than filling the bowl and leaving it out all the time. As your cat loses weight, she will likely regain her activity level, and you can try to get her to play more with different kinds of toys (laser lights are a big hit with one of my cats and several of my boyfriend's cats).

Good luck, and hopefully your cat will have another 14 years left. :)
Outdoor cats usually live about 6-8 years. Indoor cats can live much longer. My cat, Ripley, lived to be 16 years old and she stayed indoors all the time. My aunt's cat, Suzie, was 28 years old when she passed away. Suzie was a Siamese, and that breed tends to live the longest. Then again, my Mom's cat Bandit was an indoor cat and had an accident in the house and died at 4 years old. My point is that cat's can live many years, or few years depending on each separate cat. Enjoy the years you have with your cat regardless of how long he/she lives and don't worry about it so much.
