How long does cat labor take ? What do I need to do for her ?

Answers:
Some people get really involved in their cats labor.

Mother cats do very well on their own.

Sometimes cats can give birth over a period of minutes unless they have complications.

Just make sure your cat has a comfortable place to have her kittens. She might not want to use the spot YOU chose but whatever spot she chooses, make sure other pets and people are kept away so she wont be under any more stress than she needs to be.

Also, if your cat gives birth on a rug or blanket of some kind, don't be so quick to take it from her. I tried that once and the kittens started 'wiggin out'. They like the scent.

Give them about 4-5 days with it and then change it for a new one.
it usually takes...depending on the cat...3-4 hours. and i would get her a nice warm blanket to lay on, and keep comotion VERY LOW. try to calm her down with some warm milk, and when she is IN labor, make sure her breathing is okay, because they tend to breathe faster. That's not always good. Sometimes it helps, but just to be safe, if her breath is too fast, just sweet tak her. Really, i know it sounds dumb, but it calms her down. just mkae sure she's warm and calm. okay?

Best of luck sweetie!! Hope they're adorable!!
best thing to do is wait maybe a few hours or so. keep a warm blanket under her. make sure a lot cuz you dont want her soaking your carpet or floor with any "fluids". keep nice fresh water near her and sum food. gud luck on those kittens tho
