Usually about 30-40 dollars for a 4 month supply. Be sure to get one specifically for cats and for your cat's age and weight. And unfortunately, penny pinching in this situation can be fatal. Many of the cheaper products like Bio Spot, and Hartz can kill a cat even though they supposedly are for that correct weight. All flea products contain the chemical pyrethroids or pyrethrins and cats are very sensitive to this and need a very low dose. This is why the cheaper brands or using a dog product on a cat can harm them. They will have seizures, shock or die. If your cat has minor symptoms such as lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, bathe your cat with Dawn soap and take them to your vet. If your cat experiences the other, seek veterinarian attention immedietly.
Do an internet search...I think PetMeds.com is a good reference...
We had a flea prob. a couple of years ago %26 got the same formula from Advantage (it came from Australia, but the postage wasn't expensive %26 it worked great!)
It costs about $13.50 a tube at my vet, and I usually get a 3 month supply for my two cats (total of $81); I get a 7th tube free.

Actually I switched from Advantage to Frontline because it protects against ticks, which Advantage doesn't do - the price was the same.
Go to PetMeds.com. You can get it cheaper there.
