I got a new kitten and it has only ben sitting in one spot for7 hours what should i do?

Your kitten may be ill, but it may also just be terrified. Speak softly to him or her and try to keep the house quiet. Try to put food and water near by so that she has an opportunity to eat and drink without leaving her spot.

It's not unusual for a new kitten to act this way, but he or she should gradually feel comfortable enough to start to explore. A vet check up may not be a bad idea either since your kitty will need vaccinations and deworming anyway.

Go over and pick it up and snuggle and play with it. It may be having a bit of a problem with going to a new home. You have to make it feel comfortable in its new home.
