Answers:
Moving to a new home is a stressful event for a cat. Your kitten will need some time to adjust to its new environment - see this link for info on how to help your kitten adjust:

Cats are active at night by nature - you can help to 'reset' the kitten's schedule by having a good play session in the evening: http://www.littlebigcat.com/index.php?ac...
follow up with a nice meal of quality canned food. That will mimic the natural hunt-play-sleep cycle of cats, and help him to sleep.

Enjoy your new kitten!
The kitten probably misses her siblings and mom and that is why it is crying. Make sure to give it a lot of attention. Give it a warm blanket to lay with. It will settle down in a couple days.
I trained my cats to sit and come using treats and attention. I trained them to sit just like you would a dog. I showed the treat, put it above their head, and encouraged them to sit.
It may be lonely or hungry. Snuggle it %26 keep it warm at night. Also, kittens need small, frequent meals - their bellies are small %26 can't hold much at one time. Are you feeding it often enough? Use a dry food like kitten chow %26 moisten it if the kitten is very young. Also do not feed kitten dogfood as it doesn't contain enought protein %26 has no taurine (if cats don't get taurine, they will go blind). Do not let the dogs around the cat at feeding time, or leave the kitten unsupervised, dogs can be friendly one minute but change rapidly to viewing the kitten as prey %26 attack or kill it. To litter train a kitten, put litter in a low-sided litter box, then after each time the kitten eats wait a few minutes %26 then take the kitten to the litter box, sit his rear in it, %26 scratch his paws across the litter - he'll get the idea quickly. Don't give your kitten milk - it causes diarrhea. Be sure to get its vaccines starting at about age 8 weeks %26 please, please spay or neuter - that is normally done at about age 6 months.
I have lots of experience with kittens. They will "cry" until they feel comfortable in their new home. Giving them lots of attention and playing with them are good habits to have. Lots of toys help! Get the kitten on a regular eating schedule. Feed it before you go to bed so that it may cry less at night.
