How do you get rid of cat smell from 150 cats (not mine)?

Answers:
150 cats -- where? Different areas need different methods. A black light would be a good investment because the urine glows bright green under this light so you can know exactly where to clean. To clean up, use an enzymatic cleaner such as Simple Solution or Nature's Miracle, both readily available in gallon containers. This usually removes the stain and odor except in extreme circumstances, and I think 150 cats is extreme. Never use ammonia.

On cement you will need to let it dry after cleaning and then either paint or varnish. Since cement is porous, sealing in the odor is the only way to go. If you don't clean it up first, the paint will not "stick". If the volume of odor producing cat "filth" is great, you will never be able to get rid of it all without painting. In the house: Carpets and padding will need to be removed. If there is vinyl and it is worn or loose, that will probably have to go too. Remove the baseboard and after cleaning, spray varnish the back of the baseboard. Paint or spray varnish the wall behind the baseboard and the floors as well.

Keep in mind that your health will be at risk unless you keep the house very well ventilated. You may even need to wear respiratory protection during the cleaning and painting process. The only way I can think of to ensure a clean result is to paint everything after cleaning. Make sure to check out anyplace a cat could reach. Rafters in the basement will need to be checked, even the electrical outlets will need to be checked in case a cat has sprayed into them. If any furnace registers or air returns are in places where the cats could reach, they need to be removed and cleaned (or replaced) and the inside of the ducts cleaned as far as you can reach. Might be worth the investment to have the ducts professionally cleaned because the volume of cat dander and hair could be huge. While you're at it, have the furnace cleaned, too.

A lot of this depends on how much work you're willing to do. If you have a lot of money, replace as much as you can and hire the rest of the work done.

I don't envy you. Good luck.
Try gasoline and a match...
in fabrics, I know that Dreft worked really well. Carpet and furniture, I don't know.
well what is your circumstance? there are many products you can use. go to a petstore and see if they have any simple solution spot and odor remover works amazingly got my male cats spray stains out and hte smell with it.
150 dogs.
EWWWWW!!
I can't imagine. Probably a flame thrower! Cat pee is so gross.
Not sure what your situation is, but many times homes that have housed that many cats simply have to be condemned. There is no way to make them livable again.
What you may have to do is call a company such as Servpro. They take care of cleanups after fires, water damage, and so on, and they have the equipment needed to take care of a house that was destroyed by a cat collector.
I like cats, but.I'd move!!
atomic weapons will kill that smell.
Call in a professional fumigator
Check out the website I have listed below and good luck.
I agree with Danimal. Burn the place down! LOL
Seriously though, the home is not inhabitable anymore. You see it all the time on Animal Cops and those kind of shows on Animal Planet. The crazy cat lady has too many cats, etc etc. The smell will never go away.
Uhhh... has a health inspector looked at the place? It may need to be condemed. Unless it was a well run sanctuary (I do know of one that gives cats a whole house but they clean 8+ hours a day), it may not even be safe to live in. I'd suggest calling a professional cleaner in. That's a HUGE job for a single person.
