How do you get cat scratches out of a wooden table?

Answers:
Sandpaper. Also if their deep enough, rub in some woodputty and stain. Luck from Brian%26Stimpy.
Sand out the cat scratches!
Fill in with a furniture stick close the the color of your furniture.

When dry, try to find a stain that matches the color of your furniture, if the stick doesn't quite match.
Find a wood filler color matched to your wood. Then you need to lightly sand out any rough spots and follow the directions on the filler.
I use Old English furniture polish. It works really well.
Two words: brown Sharpie
fill it in with a furniture stick that matches the color of your table and sand it down and put clear stain over. It will look as good as new. You can stop the cat from scratching by rubbing some strawberry vinegar on it. Your cat will stay away since the smell is not familiar.
Go to your local hardware store find the Plastic Wood Filler (you can either buy in neutral colour then stain it to match or you can by it coloured)
Sand the table where the scratches (to smooth it out a bit) are or all of it depending on size and how much work you want to do
Clean it after you sand
Apply Plastic Wood Filler don't worry if you make a mess with it, the stuff does shrink a bit when it dries
Allow it to completely dry, sand to smooth using a very fine sand paper - any mess you made easily sands off
Clean again stain to match your table (if you bought neutral) Apply Varathane protective coating if you wish
Have fun =)
